Tuesday was Missionary Leadership Council, which I was at from 8am-3:30pm. So long, but great to hear from President and Sister Killpack and our Assistants. Also found out that day that I would be giving a 20 minute training the following morning at Zone Conference.
Wednesday was Zone conference, had to be there at 7:30am. Exhausting! But, I was able to get some insight from President Killpack by going to his house the night before [they only live a block away from the president], and he helped me a bit with my training on keeping the Sabbath Day holy, and preparing in advance for the Sacrament. I think If anything, it helped me realize what I needed to improve on in regards to keeping the Sabbath Day holy!
Thursday was Combined District Meeting, in which I gave another 20 minute training on helping members fellowship new converts! Phew, I was wiped out and ready to be done by the end of the meeting. So many meetings in a row, but overall I felt like we all benefited from them.
Solange got baptized on Saturday, which was awesome. I played the piano. She's from Tanzania Africa, and has had a desire to be baptized since the moment we met her and she heard about the gospel!
Sunday night we brought a bunch of our investigators to the Killpacks, where they did a Family Home Evening for the YSA missionaries and their investigators. Sister Wallentine and I helped prep the food and set the tables before everyone got there, and it was a great meal and a wonderful time. The gospel is true! We discussed the Plan of Salvation at the FHE at the Killpacks, and I know that families can be together forever. What a gift :)
Today for pday we went roller skating and had another Nerf gun war. I love my district. We all get along so well!
Love you all!
