To Snow, or Not to Snow? That is the Question. UVU YSA 2nd Stake, Orem, Utah Mission, February 19, 2018

Hello! To start off, the weather on Saturday was a nice 55 degrees, with sunshine all around and children playing outside. Sunday started out pretty nice, but by Sunday night.. Snow!? The weather here is so bipolar. :o

Anyway.. Being a missionary is still the best! I have my new companion now, Sister Harper. She's from North Carolina and a red head (whose name is Ginger:) She is super sweet and occasionally sassy. It's great!

Over the first few days of this transfer, I really wanted to start going to Ward Councils and getting our faces out there so more people would know who to reach out to if they had someone who would be interested in learning about the gospel! On Sunday we ended up going to 4 meetings and 4 sacrament meetings.. They lasted from 8am-5pm. It was a long, but very successful day!

One of the sisters in our zone was sick on Saturday, so I stayed with her while her companion and my companion went to lessons. I still feel honored that I get to help all the sisters in my zone! It's always a blessing to serve.

I've had several moments this week where I just feel so blessed and grateful that God has allowed me to serve and teach His children here in Utah. Several people that Sister Wallentine and I started teaching were very stubborn and weren't super excited about us meeting with them. But over the last few days I've seen so many small miracles and things that prove to me that God is in this work. He knows us all, He knows all the people I'm teaching and what they're going through, and He will help them.. And me! I was able to see Teo pass the sacrament again and that touched my heart. This life is a time to prepare to meet God... And as we make promises with Him and do all we can to return to His presense, we will feel so much more joy in this life.

The gospel is true! If you don't know it, find it out! (lds.org)

Love,
