Sick Sisters,UVU YSA 2nd Stake, Orem, Utah Mission, January 15th, 2018

Unfortunately, as luck has it, my companion and I BOTH got sick this week.. With different things! Most of this week was spent inside recovering, but nevertheless, we continue to be led and guided to new people to teach! We have a lot of lessons set up for this upcoming week, so more details on people we are teaching will come next week :)

The coolest part of the week was that my testimony was able to grow from being sick! Seems impossible, but I promise it's not. On Tuesday I was up all night with a fever, which continued into Wednesday. In the morning my companion received a Priesthood blessing to help her recover, and in that blessing it said she would recover in a couple of days- she is just now starting to feel better. I was a bit prideful and thought I could get over my illness on my own. (Not true). Later that night I was getting worse, so I asked the Elders to give me a blessing. After the blessing I immediately started feeling better. By Thursday my fever and the biggest parts of my illness were done, and by Friday I was completely healed. This blessed me and my companion, as I was able to go into full out "mom-mode" as my companion called it, and could help her recover. I am grateful for the Priesthood, which is the Authority from God to act in His name, and that we have it today to bless us in our lives.

The Gospel is True!

PS Today we had our zone activity.. Another Nerf war of course. Our district made plans to have matching headbands and war paint so we could freak everyone else out and win.. It worked! :)

Have a wonderful week!

Love,
Sister Crofts
