Another great week in Orem Utah! This week has been chalk full of miracles and has definitely helped me see that God is in the details. Not just of my life, or my companions life, but of those we meet and teach.. And Everyone! How blessed are we? (Very, in my opinion!!)
Here are a few miracles/people we've met with and taught this week:
Brandi: A single mom who's YSA aged (Young Single Adult) and from Las Vegas. She's living with her friend who is a member, and is interested in changing her life around and has read some of the Book of Mormon. She really wants to follow Jesus Christ, and is awesome!
Pelumi (P): When we first met her, she told us to call her "P" and just a few days ago we finally found out her actual name haha! She's from Nigeria and is going to be baptized in a few weeks. When we first met her all she wanted to do is tell us everything we were wrong about, but now her testimony is growing and she asks less and less questions because I know the spirit is testifying to her of the truth of what we teach!
Jerry: Is from China, and going to UVU. He knows absolutely nothing about Jesus Christ and God, so teaching him is making us think extra hard and teach more simply. He is so sweet and came to church yesterday. He wants to be baptized as well!
Elizabeth: Also from China, we met her briefly last night, and set up a time to meet with her on Tuesday! She's been to church with her roomates once :)
Sara: From Norway, and for weeks now has been pondering and thinking about whether or not she wants to be baptized. Her boyfriend is a member and a few days ago she finally accepted a date to be baptized on! She has some concerns still, but definitely is relying on the spirit she feels.
Solange: Is from Tanzania, and is going to be baptized in a few weeks! She used to be super shy, but since she's been going to church and meeting with us she's opened up a lot, and is really excited to be baptized!
We also have lessons with three new people this week, Eme, Michaela, and Shelby. I feel so blessed and grateful that I get to help these people come closer to Christ.
The Gospel is true! I know it, and you can know it as you search the Book of Mormon (Also true) and pray to ask God. I love you all, and I love this gospel.
Oh, and a few days ago it snowed! Woohoo!
