Provo and Jordan River temples...and lots more! UVU YSA 2nd Stake, Orem, Utah Mission, March 19th, 2018

Hello! This week was wonderful, as two of our investigators got baptized!

On Wednesday Gift was baptized. Gift is Teo's friend, they are both from Nigeria and both hilarious. Gift happens to be about 5 times bigger than Teo though haha! Gift was so happy and excited to be baptized, and Teo talked at his baptism. It was so cool to see two people I was able to teach and their testimonys!

On Saturday Marie was baptized! Marie is friends with Pelumi, who got baptized a little over a month ago. She's super sassy as well, but really sweet and kind and has a lot of knowledge about the gospel! Most people who met her at church thought she was already a member!

This last week we also had Zone Conference, in which I gave a training on Chapel Tours, we helped our Recent Convert Emily find names to take to the temple, and we had our first "shift" at the Jordan River Temple Open house! It was so fun and being able to be so close to the temple was awesome!

Funny story, on Friday we had planned on going to the Mount Timpanogos Temple with Emily to do baptisms (She was going to be baptized for her Mom!) and we got there, went inside, got our clothes, and they told us there was an hour and a half wait! So we called our Mission President and got permission to go to the Provo City Center Temple! I had never been there before, and it's beautiful! So in that one day, we went to three temples (including helping out at the Jordan River temple) and drove over 100 miles.. I was pretty worn out by the end of the day- but it was worth it!

This upcoming week is Sister Harpers Birthday- its on Saturday, the 24th! If you could all send her an email saying "Happy Birthday!" I know she would appreciate it! Her email is:

Also, on Saturday, Monday, and next Tuesday, we will be at the Temple Open House helping all day long.. we will even be sleeping over up in Riverton since we start at 6:30 am and go to 10 pm! It will be a very tiring, but fun week. My Pday wont be until Wednesday or Thursday of next week, so I will talk to you all again then!

Thanks for all you do and all you are! The gospel is true, and I cant say it enough because it's changed my life and I know it can change yours too! God loves you! :)

Love,
Sister Crofts
